Missing the footy & the Swans

I'm really suffering from FWS - Footy Withdrawl Syndrome. I can't wait for the 2011 season. All i can say is thank god for RWO or I'd go completely nuts. Who's with me?

We've watched the Carlton final several times already. Now preparing to relive our winning games from the rest of the 2010 season (never watch the losing games again). I guess we'll start on games from the archives again soon...

I normally get withdrawals here and there over most summers, but I feel a bit footy fatigued this year, ended up at both Grand Finals and am happy to wait until Feb and (hopefully) enjoy the Ashes.

Yeah baby. I feel ya pain.
I was so pleased that we got to see the boys on Junior Masterchef. An off-season spoiling. I could get used to that.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

Must admit, I watched some of this game doing the TLM report, and it was still exciting.

I love the footy but I don't mind the break. Doesn't seem all that far away before we're back at Blacktown for the pre-season.

Not much on with the cricket. Soccer - nooooooooooo. Haven't looked at any replays of games from this year yet. Keeping my mind occupied with other things. Off to Melbourne for Equitana in a week and a bit so can't wait for that. Off season a neccessary evil but that's life.

Yes I'm polishing my ugg boots in anticipation for Blacktown.
In memory of my little Staffy - Dicey, 17.06.2005 to 1.12.2011- I'll miss you mate.

Still 24 years since the Poms (and if memory serves me correctly, you are or were one ) have beaten us here, so who knows!

What I really miss is going to the home games for a little stress release from work. Abusing the umps and the opposition helps me get rid of the tension build up. Hopefully I can make it out to Blacktown next year. Unfortunately work stopped me this year.

Yep, really looking forward to coming over for the Blacktown shindig. Amusing myself with the draft speculation and replays. Watching replays really does allow you to observe things you don't see during the tension of a live game. TDL does some very clever deft touches adding to his pure disposals and goals worth. Have a look for yourself.

The best thing to help beat missing footy is having a young son; at least once a week we're outside kicking the footy. Kick to kick is, of course, one of the best things about footy.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

My girlfriend has started playing Scrabble on her iPhone with a user going by the name of Mumster41 - I have of course assumed she is playing with Shane Mumford, and this is helping me get through the off season.
He's yet to use the word sausages though, so I can't be 100% certain that it's him.

If Mumster41 is using any words at all you can probably be sure it isn't him.
