Indeed. They would often be required to coach the side as well. Be tricky to master these days.
It's very hard to live in a studio apartment in San Jose with a man who's learning to play violin. That's what she told the police when she handed them the empty revolver.

Having watched them train for a week I will put my two cents in.......

ROK and Shaw are the motivators with voice and effort, Goodes and a whole heap of others are mighty fabulous with performance inspiration and then there's the need for the captain to be able to speak to the press if required and I would like that person to be someone who doesn't ummmm and arrrrrrrrr their way through it like a league player.

There are many capacities for the captain and I personally believe we have quite a few suitable players. Yes it is a huge compliment and I think a few deserve that recognition.

Goodesy can fill all the roles but I also don't want him overwhelmed with responsibilities and pressure, I want him acknowledged for sure, but I want him focused on field the most.

Whatever they decide, I'm good for because like I said, if it was up to me I couldn't pick just one.

As someone said, "To err is human, to er, er, er is unforgiveable."
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

So by not erring, that makes it a laydown for Hanners who can talk, and talk, and talk, and not repeat himself, and make sense. Its not natural.

              Goodsey and Macca for mine.
