Thats Mrs Dimelb (Anne to the rest of us) featured this week. Loved having them at our table, and so glad Mrs D got all the signatures she was after, especially Mal's.....he was kind of 'happy' wasn't he.

Very, very "happy" Prims. Isn't he just a doll. I love him to pieces.

Onya Mrs Dimelb. Welcome to the MOTW club!!
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

As a bit of unashamed self publicity, I was very, very honoured to have dinner with Anne and Don last week when I was in Melbourne.

They say that life can be stanger than fiction as was the case last week over dinner when we realised that we had 1 degree of seperation between us even though they have lived in Melbourne for 20 years.

Rubbing shoulders with celebrities in Melbourne last week. I found out over the weekend about Anne's new celebrity status. I also met the 16 times Camp drafting Oz champion who was staying where I was staying. That's camp as in horse riding before anyone adds their wisdom.

The transit police were out in force In Melbourne but I had my ticket so didn't bother them and they didn't bother me. It's $175 fine so fellow Melbournian's be warned.

Thanks to Primmy the Matchmaker (or was that Yenta?) at the Club Champions dinner that I got to meet such a lovely couple and be welcomed by them last week. I'm looking forward to hosting them in the near future up here on the Central Coast.

We should have a Christmas or New Year get together for RWO's in their respective cities. An opportunity to meet fellow RWO's who have been posting for years and putting a face to a name or a target on a back. I've never offended anyone here
In memory of my little Staffy - Dicey, 17.06.2005 to 1.12.2011- I'll miss you mate.

          Hi everyone..

We were really pleased to have Anne as this week's MOTW. Sometimes its hard to find an interstate member when we mostly talk to Sydneysiders.

Its so great hearing the different paths our members have taken to fall in love with our great team!

If you are keen, or know anyone who would like to take part in MOTW please get in touch. You would think with thousands of members it would be easy to find 52 willing candidates a year, but its proving quite difficult!

          Cheer cheer,

          Larissa

PS just a reminder that the Member Services team are here to help if you have any trouble renewing. You can reach us on 1300 663 819 or at [email protected]

I'd like to nominate Big Al. I'm sure he could do his photo naked with a strategically placed Siggy doll.

BTW Big Al, I'm still waiting for the cogniac-marshmallow recipe.

I'm starting to worry about you Bas, have you always pictured me with a Ciggy doll or is this a new thing.

Before this thread goes completely haywire, Anne says that at first she was gobsmacked, then very chuffed, and thank you for the kind words.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Well Big Al, it is Sydney after all.

No it was rather a glorification of the middle-aged male body in all of it's gravity challenged beauty.
