One of the nicest blokes I've ever met. Ever.

Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

What an incredible pickup Joey's been for this club. A deserved Paul Roos medalist who's going to be a fan favorite for a long time to come. 8/10
..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

10 - could not ask for anything more. I love the having the big unit barging around ball. He has a unique kicking style but it works, mostly.

10 - Got to admit to a little bit of bias in my rating, he and Mummy have VERY quickly become my favourites.

Oh, and I quite like the way he plays the game too......

8.5 from me, because I think he can improve and I want to allow a bit of vote movement for next year.

I am with you Annie. I got smiled at by Joey......knee buckler......my vote is Joey for BOG in the smile stakes now that Kirky has retired.....

Started slowly, but just got better and better as the season went on.

8.5 for a great year with even more upside to come. Agree that it's Hawks zip, Swans 1+

I liked his recruitment at the time as I'd seen enough of him last year to think there was a lot of upside to him and he has delivered - BIG TIME

He is a very big unit suited to our style of play, won't be the last time he gives the B&F a shake.

Agree with Shock. I will give him a 7.5 and hope to give him a 9 by the end of 2011.

                      9....

Quiet start that grew into a crescendo by year's end.... It would be impossible for him to improve on his last 3 games. Wouldn't it?

How come it says JOHN instead of Josh on the front page?

                        BTW - 8

Didn't we get a classy pick up with Josh.

Just been talking to a Hawks supporter. I said,"now that your midfield is not as good as they thought, what do you think of getting Kennedy". "Yeh", was the reply.

We drafted some terrific players in 09 but I think we will look back in 10 years and say Joey was the best of them all.

Good season punctuated by an exceptional final series.

Proved the possiblity that he could be elite. Hopefully carries over the confidence gained into 2011. I see no season why not.

The eternal connundrum "what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object" was finally solved when David Hasselhoff punched himself in the face.
