    Lenny Hayes goes BANG

Lenny Hayes injured in nightclub scuffle | Love Machine | Prahran

Police were called to the Love Machine nightclub on Little Chapel Street at 5am on Monday where the players had become involved in a dispute with another person inside the venue.
Sounds like a brothel, not a night club.

Hayes, the St Kilda vice-captain, is believed to have suffered a cut to his nose, which may have been broken, while the second player was also punched in the face.
That would've made him feel right at home.

Out drinking at a night club until 5 around the start of pre-season? I honestly wouldn't risk going anywhere near a heap of alcohol if I had to do pre-season running within the next week.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

I hope they were doing sand dunes @ 6.

They'd be a few weeks behind in their pre season, given how late their season finished.

Would have been a good season to start with them.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Being a Sydney boy I'll give Lenny the benefit of the doubt on this one - but Steve Baker - sheeeesh what a grub....

They started this week, including senior players- Lenny may be on a different program, of course.

Possibly, maybe he's on a light sparring program.
