As the Irish man said "Well oiled beef hooked!!!!!".

Jail can now be spelt gaol and soccer can be spelt football and collingwood supporters can now be spelt neanderthals.

The Oxford dictionary says that a neanderthal is an uncivilised, unintelligent and uncouth man. Said succinctly and to the point.

Great website. The CS Lewis link will keep my son " Narnia tragic" captivated for hours.

He will have plenty of time to reflect on past misdeeds.
One of the first things would be to read David Schwarz' biography.
How to lose $4 million and eventually wake to the fact that gambling can be a sickness.

Years to pay off debts and try to establish a new life. Schwarz' strength was his wife and child.
Don't know if Cressa has that support around him.

Good luck in kicking the habit and starting anew.

He has been up to it for a while though.

He should have been arrested for grand deception when he threw himself to the ground against Norf in 2002.
Driver of the Dan Hannebery bandwagon....all aboard. 4th April 09

You play in the dirt you get dirty. If someone was trying to defraud me of my home I would want him to go to prison for 10 years, not three, no matter who the tosser is.

Wonder if Fev is paying attention to creswell's story?

Fev just needs to get good odds for the Swans to win the premiership in 2011. Money problems solved.

I was sorry to hear about this, Cressa was agreat player but obviously couldn't cope with life after football. Hopefully for himself and his family this will be the kick up the arse he needs to straighten out.

Cressa's stuation is typical of celebrities with an adiction - there is always someone willing to prop them up along the journey, but usually out of self interest only, so the problem is never faced head on, and they just keep getting away with more, then just move on, until one day it all catches up and the house of cards comes tumbling down.

We can only hope that this brings him back to earth, he can learn to manage his addiction, and he can reinvent himself - as an AFL footballer he was an example for everyone.
