..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

Can someone advise if I'll ever be able to watch that without turning the volume right up and having a tear in my eye? And playing it more than once?

Leo's mark gave a sense of relief. Nicky D's goal provided pure exhilaration.

While you are still breathing ,you will never be able to watch that without those emotions. Relive the thrill. It was probably the greatest AFL thrill that I have ever had as a spectator. .Its a good example of the adage that impossible is only a word. I seriously doubt that we will ever see anything like it again. The crowd, the commentators, any Swans supporter watching the match just went nuts! Automatic Hall of Fame just for that quarter IMO

I was so ready to murder them for the first 3 quarters, and then the pigheaded not on my watch getoutofmyway buggeroffyoulot reflexplay of sheer Will invoked from somewhere is the best quarter of football I have ever witnessed. Still yell my head off, can't help myself.

It still brings a tear to the eye- if I ever watch that sequence of play again and not want to cry, I know that I'm on my last legs.

Im really enjoying that series of clips though- it is getting me pumped for 2011. Great to hear that our membership numbers are up significantly on the same time last year. I think there are a lot of Swans fans out there very optimistic about where the club is headed in 2011- I know that I've certainly started booking trips in to go and watch games in anticipation!
"You get the feeling that like Monty Python's Black Knight, the Swans would regard amputation as merely a flesh wound."

                    optimistic is the word........

I have a funny feeling that this will be a great year. The way we should have murdered the Dogs in the Finals and our demolition of Carlton all while playing heaps of youngsters was a sensational end to last season. Now with Kirk retired, but rising stars like Hanneberry and Kieren Jack's amazing development I can't remember ever feeling so optimistic. We even have enough depth to cover injuries and can even cover KPP's. If tragedy struck and say Bradshaw went down would you be dissappointed to see LJ come out for the Seniors next week!?? Hardly! Or if Reid had to fill in on the back line.
We have exciting players who can play on every line plus a core of experience. My wish for this year is to close the gap between us and Collingwood and Geelong. I don't fear St Kilda or the Dogs but the first two have had our measure for too long.Time to upset them!

i can't believe I wanted to leave that game at half time.
Thank L Ron Hubbard I was talked out of it.

that magic moment was played out right in front of us - it was so exciting I thought my mate Tammy was going to go into labour in her seat (she only had about 6 weeks to go at that stage!) I cried at the ground - and I still get very teary when I watch is now. It was great to see that Davo's miracle made it to the top 5 finals moments - it so deserved it along with Leo's mark & Pluggers 1 point in the PF of 96! Our Swans have provided the AFL world with some of the most fantastic moments over the years havent they?

I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................
