[QUOTE=Wardy;516956]I actually watched the 2006 GF on Christmas night for the first time since I attended that gameQUOTE]

Did you turn the sound down and put Barry Manilow on?

Why on earth would you do that on Christmas Night? I'll send you a spare copy of Two and a half men to watch instead.
In memory of my little Staffy - Dicey, 17.06.2005 to 1.12.2011- I'll miss you mate.

Primmy, I took a photo from my toilet window and have taken up your suggestion as my new avatar.

      How does it look?

..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

              No Way Known.

However, I also called to the gods that a Sign had been beamed down from on high when I saw the RedandWhite Bridge firework. Either that or one of the technicians is a Saints or Swans fan. Anyone take a photo? Make a nice banner.
Actually - I was of sound mind - I had only consumed a few glasses of bubbly of Christmas day with mum & fam - I was a bit partied out by the arvo so I took off home (left the cleaning up to the others seeing as I catered)

I saw it on the guide - bit the bullet and watched it - I think I actually yelled at the telly (like it was the telly's fault!) in the first half it was soooooooooooooo bad. But remembered Al sitting in front of us at the actual game and he was getting mighty mad with it all - and it was justified too. The second half came and things gradually got better - but it was just a bit too late.

So I toughed it out - no Barry Manilow playing either (why on earth would one play Barry Manilow anyway - it would have been Herb Alpert and his Tijuana Brass now that would pepp things up a bit!) and I did actually cry at the end though.
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

Wardy, don't you have any old recordings to watch rather than relive the pain? Girl you need a new job!

Bas, de dum, de dum, de dum.....

                Fair avatar I do admit.

                Toilet window?
This is obviously not the YMCA!

A new job ?? - funny you should say that Prims, I might just do that!!!!!!

I just saw on the guide "AFL rivalries" and went into raptures because there was actually my footy on the Teve at this time of year (and at a reasonable hour too!) - then saw what it was - so as part of my new "get strong you woosy la la girl" regime - I sat it out. Dont ever plan too again - but I did it!

As for your avatar Bas - how much vaso did you have over the freakin lense or were you a bit shaky trying to balance on said toilet to get the shot???

It's a red and white jelly blubber.

That's the best I can do with the size restriction and the distance of my toilet window to the opera house.
