    2010 Rate the Season: #30 Lewis Roberts-Thomson

Dead set broke my heart when he got injured.
Can always count on LRT to surprise me at the absolute last line of defence.
Tries his little heart out he does.

Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

6 - he was good when he was on the field but 14 games out of a possible 24? we needed more than that from him.

I am happy to give LRT 7. He is an unprepossing player, but he has learned and we have learned that he has a talent for being the last man standing in defense and I have yet to see him watch a ball go through without exerting his utmost to prevent it.

Dropped a point or two just for being unavailable for much of the season. Not his fault, but a consideration nonetheless. Unfotunate that he did break down as he was looking to be in great nick. Look to LRT to be the CHB of choice and taking some big scalps in 2011.

6 - Minimum impact due to injury. Hopefully will have a full season in 2011 and may get the recognition from the media he deserves.

I say 6 too due to missing him from the field and sometimes not just up to his usual good standard.
            Love those Swans

I'm a pro-LRT bigot, so 8 on the strength of what he gives and I won't mark him down for the sickies. A virtually irreplaceable player and I would think one of the first names inked in each week.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)
