Maybe the Hawks got rid of Zac for more reasons than just his lack of football skills at the time.

I'd like to be a fly on the wall when Ross Lyon had a word with them.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

All this instability is a natural advantage for the swans. Like Master Tzu says:

Disciplined and calm, to await the appearance of disorder and hubbub amongst the enemy:--this is the art of retaining self-possession.

If, however, you are indulgent, but unable to make your authority felt; kind-hearted, but unable to enforce your commands; and incapable, moreover, of quelling disorder: then your soldiers must be likened to spoilt children; they are useless for any practical purpose.

..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

            Oops!

The Age yesterday wrote that Lyon had reportedly told the four errant players ''you can all get f---ed''. The Age accepts that Lyon did not use those words.

LOL, Yeah, I was hoping Kirky would appreciate it. It is from Sun Tzu's "art of war", an ancient Chinese text on the philosophy of military strategy.
