Just listened to the physio on the website, geez it appears bradshaw is no closer, still just running and not training. I rekon we should just roll the dice and play him, if the knee gives well thats it, its gonna be his last year anyway.

Seaby and Myke are pretty much as like for like replacement as you could imagine at the minute.

Seaby probably is, understandably, a bit better at being in the right spot on the field, whereas Myke could get there quicker if he knew where it was.

As Big Al said, on last weeks performance in the ressies easily Seaby > White and in truth until the last ressie game at the SCG where Myke absolutely tore it up, there was barely a bees between Seaby and Myke up until that point...

If they were committed to the Mummy/Myke ruck/forward setup, than we lose very little with Seaby playing Myke's role, if we lose anything at all.

SWAN Nick Malceski's successful return from a knee injury has been soured by speculation forward Daniel Bradshaw might need another operation on his right knee.

Bradshaw played two games after Round 7 of last season as he battled persistent knee problems and has had another pre-season plagued by the injury.

His teammate Jude Bolton said on Triple M Bradshaw might have had another setback.

"He's maybe going to have an op next week. I'm not sure, we'll wait and see," Bolton said.

Malceski, playing in the Swans reserves on Saturday, made an encouraging return only 10 weeks after tearing his anterior cruciate ligament for the third time.
Good news for Malceski...... poor Bradshaw if that news is true, how much longer can he persist before it really becomes pointless trying to get him back playing, he must REALLY want to get back out there and repay the swans for their generosity towards him.

        Peace

Maybe a cynic could conclude that the cost of operations for registered players is borne by the club? He may as well get the operations done now rather than after he retires.
Mind you, that is only what a small-minded cynic would think... either way I would love to see him back but somehow doubt he will be.

I suspect that the clubs health insurance company pays for the surgery, rather than the club itself.

Don't worry Yuri, I reckon Seabs will go OK. This is his chance to show Horse what he can do, just like Mummy last year and I think he has too much experience to let his opportunity slip by.

I think some are forgetting that Seabs is a bona fide seniors ruckman. He'll do fine.

Mummy's groundwork around the rucks when the ball hits the deck is a big loss no doubt, but the midfield will just need to pickup that slack.

Yeah, the little boys have been leaving it to Mummy. Time to pitch in.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

I didn't expect Jack back, but I was hoping Mumford would be.

the berger is gunna eat Seaby.
