2010 Rate the Season: #42 Paul Bevan

    Bevo.

    Certainly surprised me in 2010.
Hope he can keep it up, if not go further!

Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

He plays to his strengths, consistently. And some of his saving marks have been quietly spectacular. Diss him at your peril. Not the MOST brilliant player on our books, but he has done some fantastic things when they count. 7 from me.

I gave him 8 because he really outperformed expectations and kicked a couple of our best goals. With Jet, TDL and Smith ahead of him I can understand why he sought a trade.

Not seeing or hearing any news of Bevan this year. Is he still with the Swans or is he injured somewhere.
Be good to hear some news on Bevan from the Swans. He was definitely a player that should of played against the Bulldogs in the finals.
          Love those Swans

I'm with Annie - he def. surprised me in 2010. He went from being pretty-but-not-delivering-much to, towards the end of the season, really coming into his own. Let's hope next year we're giving him 8s and 9s.

Bevo had two distinct seasons. The first half very average and yet regularly picked, the second half very goodbut dropped??? To drop him for the Final game was a mistake .He actually deserved a place and it cost us.

                6. Played a few good games and a few ordinary ones. Although an average player, agree that he should've got a game against the Bulldogs.

Bevo still on deck and dangerous. Not injured, just doing what he does best. Not get noticed.
