It more sprung to mind because Bryon and Percy (Shelley) are so closely associated, and it was more amusing to me than George.

We could start calling any brain fades by his teammates as a Frankenstein? Something awful from the mind of one of Byron's friends.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

True...Frankenstein was written by Mary Shelly - Byron's friend (and wife of Percy Shelly)....."It's aliiiiive, it's aliiiiiiiiive!"

        What the????

I at least have heard of Sumner in Christchurch.
We drove through it last month, and were amazed people would build on such cliffs, and below them.

As a teenager I found out that I was distantly related to Shelley and fretted about having a Bysshe in the family until I learned that Shelley ran off to Italy with his mistress then wrote to Mary to ask if she'd like to join them. Go cuz! (and not in a Ben way).

Digressing from this train of of topic, I would like to say that I liked the playing strip used in the GWS game.
Is this the official "away" strip that is going to be worn?

Not an away strip as such, but a clash strip. The only time I could potentially see us using this strip again, would be against GC maybe. We had an official clash strip last year that was never worn again after the pre-season.

Indeed, Mary S was a Wollstonecraft and related to the clan that gave its name to the Sydney suburb - so the Sydney connection is quite strong...I guess.

Aaaaaaaaaaaand Mary Shelley's mother was the great Mary Wollstonecraft, who any young arts student who wanted to try his luck with ladies in a beret can tell you wrote an even more important work than Frankenstein; Vindication of the Rights of Women!

I daresay that it was Carltone who wrote "The Brown Paper Bag."

I used to live at Wollstonecraft, long before I discovered the redandwhite army. That must be why......

Army? I thought we were a citizen's militia. AFL celebrates the right to bare arms.
