Well I'm excited - our team looks pretty darn good too. I think GC will be very competitive, but we should walk all over the westie kids.... Looking forward to seeing how some of the youngsters acquit themselves, especially Parker and Lamb. Glad I've got Foxtel!Comment

Thanks, Ugg.Gold Coast must be confident, they've only named 28 in their squad. It's a tall team as well with 11 players standing 190+ cm and 5 200+ cm (Thompson, Fraser, Nicholls, Dixon and Gorringe)

I think it should be (though have to allow for rustiness, with it being the first proper hit-out). There might well be talent there, but barely any of them have any senior AFL experience and most of them are still teenagers. If team comprising Goodes, McVeigh, Grundy, Jack, Kennedy, Seaby, McGlynn, Hanners, Jude etc cannot get over GC17, we are in for a long season, IMO.Comment
