How long before he's linked to the Swans again? Or maybe GWS this time.

Already mentioned in the comments on that story. I don't know if I'd want him around a bunch of teenagers to be a role-model about the game, especially when you're a new side trying to develop your club culture. I know little about his personal problems other than what gets reported in the media, but I would be very reticent if I was over at GWS about having him. Sydney? No chance here for a 32 year old forward with problems. We'll stick with Bradshaw.

Maybe Fevola should concentrate on getting his life in order. He clearly needs professional help now more than ever. He couldn't help himself in the structured environment of a footy club I can't imagine where he'll head away from that. Sad case all round.
..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

I think there may be more sympathy arounf for Fev this time.
He's done everything they wanted, and even agree to play reserves.
I see it a bit like (and I'm sure otehrs will too) that the club is giving up on him as a footballer and as a person, where they perhaps should be supporting him more.

Totally agree CTS, the Lions, having realized what a huge mistake they made in getting him, have now hung him out to dry.
I'm no Fev fan and while I think when he's fit and his brain is engaged (I know that's rare), is a very, very good footballer, I'm very glad he never ended up here. The Lions were unbelievably stupid to have pursued him as they did and, as the old saying goes, they have made their bed now they have to lye in it! I hope Fev gets every cent that he's entitled to from them.
I feel sorry for the Lions members and supporters, Voss and the board have made their club the laughing stock of the league.

I feel sorry for Fev but it's not as if he hadn't received enough warnings. Between he and Ricky Nixon it feels like AFL dickheads on parade today.

Ricky Nixon, on the other hand, has always come off as a conceited ass to me.
I'm getting ready for the ride.
Already he is on the radio letting us all know about how he was set up.

Gotta say, I'm loving this chick.
She may be in need of quite a bit of help, and seems a bit like a woman scorned on the ultimate revenge trip, but damn, she's entertaining.

I heard that Fevola still gets his money paid out, which means Brisbane gave him a contract which didn't contain a good behavior clause. How stupid can they get.

The afl are allowing them to pay him out over two years so it doesn't affect their cap.

Fev is a dickhead of the highest order; and as for the recruiters at Brisvegas ... hells bells I'm glad they don't work for us.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

Reported now taht Fev stuffed up again this time in China.
If that's true, and it probably is, then most of my sympathy for him flitters away.

How about the video footage of Nixon on the news last night of the girl showing his wallet etc in her room in a dishelved pair of jeans.
And now Nixon has left the country on a 'pre arranged trip'
You would think he'd cancel and fight for himself so that he had a management company to manage overseas players first

The only thing they wanted was for him to behave but he is incapable. When fools get on the drink they do not become model citizens, they become drunken fools. Fev can solve the problem by not drinking and like Warnie get a phone that does not allow texting and twitter
