I like the possibility of this one, the idea of commentators saying something along the lines of "the Hawks could really do with someone of his quality/ability right now" is quite satisfying."Fortunately, this is the internet, so knowing nothing is no obstacle to having an opinion!." Boooooo.I hope the "golden child" is not there in September

Parker, Parker, Parker
If any injuries occur in the midfield.......well Luke will be johnny on the spot and ready to roll as an inside midfielder ..............He reminds be alot of a young michael voss or a sam mitchell........just born to play football and be in amongst the contest week to week !
He is ready to rock at 18yrs of age !!...............only challenge for him will be getting an inside mid possie ahead of McVeigh, Bolton, ROK, Jack, Hannes, Kennedy........so many inside midfielders with that are proven now
Rohan, Shaw and Smith will get alot more time in the midfield / backline rotation.............I am hoping that Rohan takes over from Kennellys role by end of this season...........Rooster is a jack out of the box and will become lethal interchanging from HBF and Wing
Goodes to break 60 goals in a season ........first time in his career............thats right you heard it here first
Swans 4th if Bradshaw plays half the season.......5th if he doesnt play at all"be tough, only when it gets tough"

Swans to at least reach a Preliminary Final.

Swans fail to make any real impact in pre-season cup, yet again.
Swans defy the predictions of EVERY expert tipster south of the border and play finals (yet again!)
Swans, blessed by injury free run, embarrassed by wealth of talent available for finals.
Swans take historic NEAFL/AFL Double!Comment

I'd much rather the privilege of tearing up as I watch Goodsey chaired off the ground for his last ever game, still donning the red and white, holding the record for the most games ever for the Mighty Bloods. I just hope it won't be for several seasons yet.Comment

After three losses in a row sometime in the season , fan forums filled with diatribe about the need to bottom out to be competitive sighting the one premiership in the past five or ten years that has successfully used this method.
One of Bevan/ mattner / richards / moore to become RWO whipping boys for 2011
Horse to be compared to roosy at every opportunity when things arent looking good
Loss of Kirk to be sighted as the reason for any close loss, even though we have rarely won close games over the last few years.
Calls for Collingwood in melbourne media to be allowed further concessions (in addition to it hardly ever playing outside melbourne) so that it somehow is allowed to finish both 1st,2nd, 3rd and 4th at end of regular season to guarantee it a grand final spot.Comment

Yes yes yes. Agreed completely.Comment

You forgot to mention that he'll be wearing his three Brownlows and three Premiership medallions around his neck when he goes.Comment

I know I will get shot down and nailed to the cross for this, but....Jude Bolton to struggle to get a game apart from as a Sub. His speed and disposal a big factor in a game where speed and tackling has gone to another level.Comment

You still need some in and under mid fielders and with the retirement of Kirk Jude becomes an important player.
..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

I'll get criticized for this but it's a feeling I have and one I can't quite explain...And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC
