A much improved quarter, the intensity picked up and Collingwood started to feel some of our pressure. Forward line still feels a little piecemeal, who exactly are playing the key positions?

Some very encouraging highlights in that quarter.

Kennedy has been massive (in every sense) at clearances.

Johnston's kick was tremendous. And liked the lack of carry on aftewards. Straight back to the goal square with a solemn look on his face. Hopefully he can find some more of the ball as the game progresses.

Sumner's poise and his work in traffic has been very good indeed - he is one definitely putting his hand up for an early season debut.

Like the way Reid has presented.

Some excellent set plays in the forward line from Pykey's ruckwork. No doubt other teams will cotton onto it but it could be good while it lasts. The play that led to ROK's second goal was almost copied move for move moments later for Jack's shot that went across the face, and then they tried the same thing again a few minutes later.

Rohan's not seen much of the ball but am loving his ferocity in the tackle.

McGlynn's definitely a lot perkier than he was for the previous two weeks.

And Goodes and Jack are both looking reasonable sharp for this time of year.

Still too many heart-in-the-mouth moments in defence though.

Hope Hanners is precautionary as that was a hard bump.
Oh Judy Jude. That was a bugger!
Can someone tell me how long since we have ever lead Pies on a scoreboard? 6 years?
Only lasted for 2 minutes but it was lovely.

Stupid 50m penalty that Jude gave away. But I have no idea what the second 50m penalty to Krakouer was for. He played on almost straight away after the initial free so can't see that any Swans stepped over the mark.

Bit annoyed that Sumner was subbed off. He looked so lively and effective in the first half that he deserved more time to show his wares. We know what the likes of Shaw can do already - why not give Sumner more opportunity.

Hope that Hanners is OK. He looked close to in tears on the bench. Hopefully that was just because he was sore rather than disappointment at some more significant injury.

Couple of our senior players could do with a bit of a lift if we're to get over the line - McVeigh, especially, plus ROK was quite quiet in that 3rd quarter.

JF is looking like the BIGGEST Swans supporter this year.

I think poor Jude might be having a Leo Barry final year. I'm very impressed with Meredith. Sumner is showing great promise.

What a tackle by TDL on GWS bound Daisy. Nearly as good as the one in last years first final.

Hanners looks like he came up second to a Daisy. Incy Wincy regaining some credibility after the earlier mistakes.

I hope L J has some chances this last qtr.

Vastly entertaining game so far. Messy and pretty scrappy.
Gary Rohan is a delight and JPK is in super hot form.

I liked Rohan's work in that quarter, up on the wing and then later deep in defence.
