NAB Challenge Swans v Saints, Coffs Harbour

I let out a little squeal of joy when I read this sentence at the end of this article:
The Bombers will take on the winner of Saturday's clash between Collingwood and West Coast while the Saints will travel to Coffs Harbour next Saturday to take on the Sydney Swans
I will be sitting on the grassy hill next Saturday night with my two kids (7 & 4) who have never been to a live AFL before. As long as the weather is not like today it will be great.

edit: Just had quick look at Virgin and you can fly up from Sydney for $139 (sat. arvo) and back for $114 (sun. lunch). $189 each way on QANTAS.
It is a 6 ?hr drive from Sydney, 4 and a bit from Brisvegas.

RS I'm so happy for ya.
Make sure you take a texta so that you can get things signed by the players. Don't be shy if you get the opportunity.

(You'll have to change your profile nexxt week to "Coffs Habour Footy Central".)
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

The local North Coast AFL comp. has the Sawtell Saint (unbeatable for about 6 years) and the Coffs Harbour Swans.
There are also the North Coffs Roos, Grafton Tigers, Nambucca Lions and Port Macquarie Magpies (I have never really like Port Macquarie and when I found out their footy team name I realised why, nothing to do with their rocky beaches.)

That's great news RS. Hope you have a great day.

The Saints are a good opponent for us to be up against next week.

Tough, contested footy will be a good simulation for the Home and Away season. Particularly since they will be smarting after last nights poor effort.

(Just on last nights game, did anybody else think the Saints copped a reaming from the umps? As a neutral, with more of a Bomber liking than a Saints one, I thought they were hard done by. As usual though, it didn't affect the outcome.)
And the man who started it all, the Schneiderman . . . . .

                Yes and it is wonderful.
I haven't seen the boys play live since 2008 and then they turn up in my back yard!

Try dropping 5 out of this list for Rnd 1. I guess this answers the Reid V LJ question for now.

27 listed, and some to come back - who will miss out in 2 weeks!

Beautiful blue sky in the Coffs Oval picture - enjoy the game

                          I'd agree with that.

Didn't LJ play last week against the Suns?

No he was 'rested' along with Shaw, TDL and Mattner.

You are probably very close but I think White will play if Braddles is unavailable and I still think Pyke is a chance ahead of Seaby if we don't need Seaby as a KP forward.
