Okay, I thought I'd bring it back this year and see what it throws up.
Not much to report after round 1, with the best on ground players from the seven winning teams, as well as us and Melbourne, picking up 10 points for the top nine spots, with seven players on nine points in the 10th spot.
10 points - Jimmy Bartel (Geelong), Dean Cox (West Coast), Patrick Dangerfield (Adelaide), Bryce Gibbs (Carlton), Matthew Pavlich (Fremantle), Ted Richards (Sydney), Dane Swan (Collingwood), Colin Sylvia (Melbourne), Jobe Watson (Essendon).
9 points - Simon Black (Brisbane Lions), Lenny Hayes (St Kilda), David Hille (Essendon), Ben Johnson (Collingwood), Marc Murphy (Carlton), Scott Stevens (Adelaide), Andrew Swallow (North Melbourne).

but I don't recall Bevo, Macca, Reg or Hanners starring at any time in the first four rounds. They were good but not standouts.
