    Flicker flicker flicker!!!

Its bad enough that the Swans advertise with LED at ANZ, where it flicker flicker flickers so you can't see the action especially in close because it is backed by flicker flicker flicker, but now they are bringing it to the SCG and are Boasting!

I don't know about you, but it aches my eyes, and I often have them closed when something interesting is happening because its flicker flicker flicker. I am mad as hell.

+1. It's awful when you can't see what's happening with that crap in the background. Once again the advertising dollar is put ahead of the member, without whom there wouldn't be much value in the advertising dollar.

    I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

The title of your post had me guessing.

Primmy, I knew you weren't talking about the new labour opposition leader in NSW. Unlike the last one, he has no hair at all to flick!

It's not about the horse - My Friend Flicker either.

Perhaps you could have a chat to your optometrist and a pair of anti-glare or polarising glasses might do the trick. You can get ones that fit on top of your normal glasses. At least being on the O'Reilly wing, it shouldn't affect you as much compared to where some of us on here sit in the Brewongle. We will just have to use our Chardy glasses to filter the light.

The Club I imagine would make far more money out of advertising compared to memberships so we just have to get used to it.

+2. It is awful on TV. And it is awful at the Ground.

TO whom it may concern, IF THE AD IS ANNOYING I WON'T TAKE NOTICE OF IT, SO I WON'T BUY THEIR PRODUCT!!!

The first time I saw that flickering at ANZ I thought I was going to have a fit. It took about half a quarter to be able to look near it without feeling disoriented. I vowed that I would never go to ANZ again. But I did, of course. Now I only get that sick feeling for the first five minutes or so and try not to look at it. Am horrified that it will be at the SCG.

In all honesty, I've never noticed it before. Is it that bad?

It's very annoying on TV, but I've not noticed any impact when I'm actually at a game at ANZ. Mind you, most things about ANZ irritate me so I've probably just mentally added that to the list. :-)

The scrolling, flickering signs on the fence around the ground.

Thanks mate... Hadn't really noticed an issue but now that it's been pointed out it will probably drive me crazy. I can't possibly hate the ground any more than I do.

                              That's flicker on Flicker!

I suggest that they can only use these "fancy" new gadget's if the situation arises that the Swans are 30 points down in a game, they start showing the finals quarters of eithers the Geelong or St Kilda finals from 2005 on them.
