    Quick meet-up

Before the final v Carlton last year, about half a dozen of us met for a few frothies prior to the game. From memory Big Al, Wardy, ORB, Yuri, ScottH, Annie and DrJ were among the 'gang'. Apologies to anybody else if I have missed them.

I propose in light of the result that day, we keep the tradition alive at ANZ, after all it's only a few times a year.

Where: The bar adjacent to Aisle 119 (Swans end of the ground).
When: 5 minutes after the conclusion of the reserve grade.

It's just a half hour meetup to put faces to names and have a laugh. If we can get Annie to make an appearance again, a laugh is guaranteed...lol. It can be daunting, but it is worthwhile.

Will try pop round - am sure we'll all hear Annie so will just need to follow the voice

        I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

I'm relying on friends (who are notoriously late!) to get me to the game on Sunday, so I can't make it, but will try another time. I'll have a frothy to get in the spirit though!

I would love to join you but I will be camping and fishing and surfing at Iluka this weekend. The PVR better record the game or I will be pissed.

Sorry 3B, won't be making the trip north for this game. I've vowed never to attend the footy with my wife again. Its the whole SNDon hatred thing that comes between us. She just doesn't understand

Yeah why not. I will see if I can steal the easily influenced child for 20 minutes. I'm sure her mum won't object to being child-free for a half hour!

177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

Looks like we have a quorum then.

Will be good to see you again Des, it's been a while. Kids are more than welcome, I'll have my grandson (although he is 12 and in a few years will be buying at the bar adjacent to Aisle 119) and I'm pretty sure Big Al takes his nephew.

We'll just meet against the wall opposite the bar, it's a big open space in the walkway around there, lots of room.
