We been blessed with great Captains. Even through the dark ages when we would be swapping coaches every season just about, we have a good steady lineage of captains. There is an argument for Maxfield being extremely influential in his brief stint. How specific is that ...Swans"a good Captain culture""The Dog days are over, The Dog days are gone" Florence and the MachineComment

What about Skilts leading the Swans during a time when they struggled to win games... led with courage, by example.
And Barry Round? Held the team team together during the traumatically turbulent time when the club was nearly torn apart.
And Dennis Carroll? At a time when a second Foreign Legion was being formed with some success, he almost turned a team of recruited champions into a champion team.
Ok, there is a little bias - but we have had some awesome leaders at the club over the years!Comment

I wasn't sure whether they were complimenting the other Captains or setting Frawley up for a major thumping. Probably both. If you were doing captains of all time, there would be quite a few others they didn't mention that would have probably been there.anyone watch after the bounce last night, see kirky and kelly made the top 10 captains of all time.
