Reid will play if he is fit.
Everitt will play.
AJ should keep his spot, he is a natural defender.
Kennelly is hopeless when he is rusty. He can come in after the bye.Moore can too.Gives them both time to find form and fitness.
No need to disrupt the side with rusty unfit players when the interchange is down to 3 players.Fitness has never been more important.
The only change that could be made sensibly is a second ruckman in Pyke but that won't happen either despite us getting creamed in the HOs to advantage last week.
We have them where we want them, everything is going according to plan!
Super sub is a great way to ease players back in after injury.
and drop Rohan???
..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC
reid has been declared fit he'll play, Moore and Kennelly for perhaps Johnson and Bevo..but what about Rohan? Could be Rohan in Jetta to supersub Kennelly for Johnson for his kickouts and Moore for Bevo. Bevo has had a good day on Johnson before I seem to recall, tackled him hard a few times and then johnno went awol.
Interesting times for Swannies Jed Lamb may be close to a game, Meredith can't get in, Johnson looked great for a first gamer on a tough ground and the defence poor around him, Seaby Bradshaw LRT Spangher Malceski to come back plus Heath and Pyke, Sumners had a run, great to see some real pressure building for a spot in the team.
Sports do not build character. They reveal it....Heywood Broun
I always turn to the sports pages first, which record people's accomplishments. The front page has nothing but man's failures......Earl Warren

Johno has been doing alot more time on the ball in the midfield.................Jimmy starts at FP lately and then they swap............so me thinks if we truly think that AJ and Everitt can play on large and smalls and Everitt can play forward as well as back I would drop Bevo now and keep Everitt and AJ and bring back Tag..............but I reckon Tag should come back the week after ie another week in ressies for fitness
Only issue is that Bevo is more suited to a role on the SCG............if you look at Bartell, Chapman and Varcoe all starting in their forward line we probably need the same backline as last week minimum as it will be hard at the ball at that end of the field plus you have little Stokes being tagged probably by Shaw but Podsiadly on the bench which makes it interesting !
Id like to see Meredith come in for Bevan, and hopefully the rest stay the same, surely Kennelly has to be close to BOG in the ressies before theyll pick him?If he cant get a heap of touches in that league hows he going to go at afl level?I think they will want to give Rohan a full game this week so Meredith or Jets as sub for mine.
Keep Bevan for his tackling against those really solid Geelong bodies.
Kennelly possible for kick-ins and quickly turning ball to attack; but if at the expense of Bevan, we lose a lot in defensive pressure. I am not inclined to drop anyone else
Well, I think the a conservative team will be picked. In that I mean, the tried and true.
From watching 360 degrees last night, The Cats aren't that keen on the SCG andd have been trying to modify their field. Brad Scott said he would have prefered ANZ.
So in future, we play the teams we know we can flog at ANZ and the big guns at SCG. Why hasn't someone in the powers that be have clicked with this?
In memory of my little Staffy - Dicey, 17.06.2005 to 1.12.2011- I'll miss you mate.

Your 100% right in my opinion, but unfortunately its about money not wins and losses when it comes to picking which ground they use.
I am reasonably confident there will be no changes this week. Both Moore and Kennelly are underdone and need more time in the reserves to ensure they can get through a full game.
The selection issues will come after the bye. Personally, at that stage, I'd
like to see:
In
Kennelly
LRT
Out
Bevan
AJ
Moore, TDL and Seaby not in best 22 at this stage IMO.
Kennelly needs to come in ASAP!!!!! Dont know who goes out....perhaps AJ??
Hasn't anyone else noticed how many players have butchered they're disposals, especially kicking, when we're running it out of our backline in the last 2 games? Especially against essendon?
This is primarily because we dont have Kennelly and Malceski in the side. Now I know Malcho is out for a while, nothing we can do about that(hurry up LARS!!!), but the sooner we can get Kennelly back in, the better!.
