    He kicked 5.

He came up to try out with the Swans years ago but twisted his ankle on a pine cone!
The man who laughs has not yet heard the terrible news

Need to get some game time into him - and he deserves it.

I wouldn't be surprised if MP comes in. There are a lot of big hard Cats and Myke could be the unknown element to shake them on a ground they are already wary about.
But if they put Gaz in they need to use him in a similar position to last week, that's the problem, otherwise he'll go quiet off half-back again. If he replaces Jets like for like and sits more mid/forward then I agree for sure. Otherwise, I think, he is best served by us as an attacking sub.

Looks like the Cats are playing right into the nostalgia of the 05 SF, dropping Hawkins as their 2nd ruck which really only leaves Mooney to do the job. He was one of the Geelong ruckmen in that last quarter, along with Playfair when Steven King got injured.

I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

If it's a tight game expect Pods to be useless, only one time last year did he kick a higher score than the winning margin for the cats. All the games he kicked bags in were when the cats won by 40+ Went to water in close games.

Bring back Nicky D I say!

Now if Jason Ball can just stop counting his money for long enough we have our second ruckman . . .

The thing with Bevo is...He saves his best games for the SCG.
In the small confines he cannons into opponents and teammates alike, giving away free kicks at will, but at least..." he keeps the b******ds honest".
Just leave him in the forward line please.

I'm going to get a t-shirt made with "Don Chipp Approves of Bevo"

I'm soon heading downstairs to watch AFL Teams. I wonder if they will give this week's game the same cursory coverage that they have given the Swans in previous weeks? More likely we'll get our fair share (only seven games this week) but it will be all about the Cats with a bit that can be paraphrased as "Who are they playing? Oh, that's the right, the Swans. They've been going alright against inferior teams so far but will get a reality check." Then who will win? A series of snorts and three votes for the Cats. If so, that would be at odds with BigFooty where most expect us to win. Wishful thinking by opposition fans perhaps?

Poor Don - he lived long enough to see his team go to the dogs and no longer even principled enough to keep the bastards honest anymore - or even to stay out of bed with the major parties.

A just reward for AJ. He's a cool customer.
Given that we have the bye next, i suspect they've given him one (2) more weeks, to get right.

Cant wait for Sydney to name Mike Pyke in the team again i reckon Gold Coast should have taken him over Fraser.

                              Fraser is worse then bevo.
