    Scott Mumford

This article -http://www.afl.com.au/news/newsartic...3/default.aspx - on afl.com.au suggests Scott Mumford was fairly prolific last weekend against the Eagles, but I've never even heard of the guy. Anyone got the lowdown on this kid?

It's also noteworthy about the Sydney Swans' performance against the Eagles that Kieren Jack had 12 tackles and Scott Mumford had 10.

Also, given the article seems to be mainly about the Swans, why do they have an image from the St Kilda v Essendon game? Neither of those teams are even mentioned (except in passing) in the main article. Surely Bolton laying one of his 19 tackles from the weekend would be more fitting.

It seems like a fairly ignorant article all up. It's building a case that the Swans game plan hasn't changed when it clearly has. And there's the furphy that the Swans forward line lack of contested possessions shows that we don't have a forward press. Maybe it's because we wait for a forward to present for clean possession - a Swans characteristic for many years. If there's no clean possession, the forward area is too congested for many clear kicks but is more a matter of handballing in traffic, for both sides.

And on his argument, you'd say we were almost certain to win (at least an 85% certainty). With almost even contested possessions and dominant tackles we'd be clearly on the winners side of the Champion Data ledger each quarter.

Our poor disposal required lots of tackling. Hopefully, we'll play cleaner footy tomorrow and the tackle count will drop.
