VFL Change to tomorrow's Reserves Match

    Hi All,

Due to the rain we've had over the last few days, the Sydney Swans Reserves match against Tuggeranong has been moved. It will now be played at 2pm at Lakeside Oval.

If you have any questions, please let me know.
Hope to see you all there!

    Why so early???

It's a time designed to actively discourage people from attending.

The lighting at Lakeside Oval might not be adequate once it starts to get dark around 5.30. Perhaps they also don't want too many incoming spectators milling about near the conclusion of the match?

At least they didn't transfer it to Canberra like they did with the corresponding match last year.

You're spot on Ugg. The match needed to be moved forward as the lighting at Lakeside Oval is insufficient.

Hi Primmy - We're just waiting on confirmation from the SCG, but at this stage everything will continue as planned with gates opening at 4.05pm.
I'll let you know for sure once it's all finalised.

              Fair enough.

I moved heaven and earth to organise kids from school and family dropping them into the city etc etc., but it's all for nought now.

                Hi all,

Just to confirm, the SCG gates will still open at 4.05pm.

                Cheers,

You may be able to park in the Gold members carpark for nix at that time...

Hard not to raise a giggle when they can't open the gates 5 min earlier for people to get their asses in a seat before bouncedown, yet tomorrow you can enjoy watching an empty stadium for more than 3 and a half hours...lol

I hope they put the wedding on the big screen to keep us amused....

                            Hi Ugg,

EP2 (the parking area across from the Sydney Football Stadium) will open at 1.30pm. EP3 (near Lang Road) will open at 2.45pm.

                            Thanks,
                            Jenny

                              Thanks Jenny.

I panicked a little when I saw some Cityrail trackwork signs only to realise a few hours later it's a Friday game. D'oh!
