Wouldn't we all love to see one season where the Swans not only won the Premiership, but in the process absolutely dominated the season a la Carlton '95; Essendon 2000; Geelong '07. To date the ONLY occasion that this has occurred was way way way back in 1918? Anyone remember that season?

I'm old, but not that old. I see possibilities over the next five years. Need to get Reid and LJ up to over 50 games, Rohan and Jetta to build up. I don't look forward to losing Goodes AND BOLTON, leadership by example, as much as losing Kirk has hurt us, Bolts will as well, loook at our backline without B2, I'm not as worried about running the lines thru the midfield if Mal stays on 2 legs, if he gets anywhere near the wing it's going inside 50, and he's got some years left in him, as does Irish, and MArty can fill some of the leadership void, we now have depth that was lacking the last few years, but still need 22 or 21 putting in, as do most teams, 3 or 4 years from now we will be at a peak, pies might last, but will need a new ruck, geelong will be rebuilding by then, hawks will slow, along with bulldogs, right now we should be matching up on Carlton, Adelaide and other younger lists

We still don't have a functioning forward line.. Until that happens I don't think we can set dates with greatness..

Don't count the chickens before they hatch. Some players are just lanky.

I guess LRT wld be the case in point there, but I remember a couple of skinny kids, one P Kelly, another MOL. They both did ok, and they both looked like stick figures when they started. Lets hope for the best
