The closeness is as much as GWS playing pretty well more than a lack of effort on our part.
Parker outstanding and LRT won't be too far away from a recall. Someone needs to tell Jesse u can't win mark of the year in the 2's...
Driver of the Dan Hannebery bandwagon....all aboard. 4th April 09
Swans Goals: Bevan White [unknown]
GWS Goals: Reid Casley
Tough going at sunny but chilly Manuka. Giants hugely improved since last time and their forward pressure particularly good.LRT and Parker probably best for us in first half. Jesse good in parts too. Missing most of regular toppies.
Not great conversion from either team just going by the scores- how's the weather down there?
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time
Impressed with the endeavour of GWS. If they were a bit cleaner with their skills they could well be in front. Luke Parker is a gun and the less said about Jesse the better.
..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

GWS have run out of juice. It's a shame really as they don't deserve to be thrashed.
