    Fair point.
I made the same comment last week about White.
Not sure if he has the footy nous, of a kid brought up on footy, either.

Pyke seems to be doing a better job of it ATM, than White.

Despite his disposal still being poor, just him running the ball away and pumping it out of the Dogs forward half was what we needed at the time and he provided. Thought his defensive efforts all game were pretty good too.

I'd be shocked if he was dropped this week. Has had much worse games this year.
I thought his effort was great. There was a moment in the last quarter when the Dogs were passing it square and he ran across the ground from one bloke to the next trying to make the tackle or kill the ball. I think he went to 4 Dogs before it got away from him. It was a tremendous effort.

As others have mentioned above, the surface at Manuka was odd, ...there were some very strange bounces of the ball, the players seemed to slip over a lot and ? slippery ball. Perhaps the ground-keepers over-watered, when they melted the frost?

Just watching the replay last night, Mummy appears to clutch the hammy when trying to chase down Moles in the last qr (what was he thinking?). Anyone see if he pulled up OK?

Yeh, I noticed that. Not sure if he clutched it, but he certainly pulled out of the chase awkwardly.
            Hopefully just a cramp.

              Spot on.

That chase was particularly appreciated by my group. It was EXACTLY what he needs to do and I have no doubt it will be used as a 'this is what we want to see' during the coming weeks from the match committee.

You could almost understand mixing up Marty & Reg, but Nick? Other than being tall, dark & hansome he really does not look like Marty

Was great to see the real Swans on the weekend. Great to see some solid confident work from Dan, ROK and Reg.
I don't fellow RWOers but where do we pull these defenders from? Ted was lambasted as a joke several season ago and look at him now?
                        Nick Smith is a beauty.
My favourite moment of the game was turning around and seeing Nippers Dad going OFF in the stands after his goal.

I had ROK, Teddy and Mummy in my top 3 so not madness for me.

Mummy would have been BOG for me, but caught a case of the old butterfingers, maybe Grundy passed it on?
