    Suns v Lions

Congratulations to the Suns. What a side they're going to have in a few years. The Lions however are an absolute rabble at the moment.
..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

Whodda thought? The Suns are 13th with 8 points - same as the Bulldogs and Crows, and above Saints (Crows and Saints have a game in hand).

I called it. Well, I had the Suns above Port and Brisbane in my pre-season ladder, and money on Brisbane for the spoon. An inconsistent team of gun kids will still have more upside than the mess of a list Port and Brisbane are carrying, even if they get smashed by the top sides.

I called it in the Captains Tipping Comp (pick one winner/round before the season starts). Bet Simon Black is rueing calling Brennan and Rischitelli mercenaries now

You picked the Suns??? Brave call. I tipped Geelong which I'm sure most would. You still alive I take it?

Yeah, still kicking. What's life if you're not living on the edge?

Good to see them win, they are my second team (just 4hrs up the coast from Coffs)
I was very close to putting $10 on them yestersday at $8.50...

Thought the same thing. Even the goal umps did their best at handing them the 4pts.
