Hi All,
The start time of the match was moved by the AFL to accommodate the Foxtel Cup game before hand. We were notified of this change in March, so I apologise for any confusion. Our fixtures had all been printed and sent out by the time we knew of this later start time. I understand that the change in time can make it difficult, especially for those that use public transport to get to the SCG, but unfortunately, this was out of our hands.
There is no doubt that the crowd was disappointing on Saturday night, but the important thing now is to look towards this weekend's match against Hawthorn. Our members and supporters are our greatest advocates - you know how amazing it is to sit in the sun on a chilly afternoon at the SCG and cheer for your team, and we need your help to pack the stands. Grab a mate and introduce them to the footy or if you can't make it, give your membership card to someone else to use for the day.
On the back of two wins in a row, and some great form in the final quarter, here's hoping for a great result this weekend. Not only from the boys on the field, but also from our team in the stands.
