Every year they ask me in the members feedback poll and I say the same thing "Sunday arvo footy at the SCG"... and how many games do we get? Not enough!!!

Just to make Melb members feel better, its delayed by Channel seven into Sydney as well.

I am starting to freak regarding what havoc will be brought down on us by Seven in the future.

However, back to Sunday footy, and although there is no ressies, it will be good to sit in daylight for a change.

The downside to Sunday footy is the annoying 24hrs between extended bench on Thursday to final 22 on Friday.

The 'sub' rule this year hasn't helped either...lol

Regarding the forecasts, even if the showers do come mid-afternoon, they specifically mention showers will be in the WEST and the SCG definitely isn't very west

I don't think that much will change however if there is any change it certainly won't be of benefit to the FTA people. Ch 7 always has the option of on-selling their afternoon matches to Ch 10 or Foxtel.

As Ch 7 now has 7two and Mate, you would think they could show them on there. However that would mean having to pay all the money to broadcast the match and I don't think they're interesetd. There is no money in it for them.
