Pre-match meet-ups, why have they all stopped?

    Hi peoples,
Am wanting to see if anyone from the RWO crowd wants to get the pre-match thing happening again like we used to.

I really used to love meeting up at the Colonial Hotel as a group to catch up & go to the match together. Sadly it seems that since we won the flag this togetherness & sense of community has completely dissipated & everyone does their own thing when they go to games. I honestly would like to have a crack at changing that & trying to get people social again pre-game, because frankly going to games has started become rather boring.

Is anyone up for a couple of beers pre-game? If so, which pub would people like to meet at? The one in the ground behind the Cheer Squad area would be perfect. Nobody has to go far & everyone can go straight to their seats afterwards.

So who is in to catch up tomorrow?

    Sounds good to me Jules.
I'll be coming from Docklands, so the ground bar would be good.

    what time??

I'm only flying in just before the game but will try to get there. What time will you be there and are you talking the Flinders St end of the ground - is there a bar at ground level there?

The bar behind the Bay 42 end cheer squad bay should be open.

What about people aim to catch up there at 12:30-1pm?

Pity I read this post today and not Friday.

My seat was level 1, Bay 46. So not far away. Maybe next Melbourne game?
