    Port v Tigers

I'm off to the VFL this afternoon.
Never been before, although I used to watch the GOTD on a Sat arvo on ABC years ago.

Should be good. 1st v 8th. I get to see the Majak Daw first hand, and a few of the other North youngsters.

Gary Ayres is coach of Port.
My FIL is a long time Port fan, as is (was) most of their family.
One of his relo's helps the club out with donations every so often, and buys lots of memoribilia.
The BIL's decided to take him on a day out, as he doesn't get to the footy anymore, and since the Royboys bit the dust, he's followed North.

    Should be a good arvo.
Taking my camera, so I hope to get a few decent snaps!!

How was the game? On the TV there seemed to be a pretty good atmosphere.

Looks like your FIL has the kiss of death with AFL teams.

      LOL @ FIL. Pretty much.

      The game was quite good.
Skill level way down on AFL, but the game was pretty close.
Weribee were probably the better team, but kicked poorly. Was just like Nth v Swans.

Majak Daw is super huge, Great Leap, but did little else around the ground.

I was probably on TV many times, in my Swans cap.
Directly opposite the cameras at the centre bounce.
Also had the crowd camera in my face a few times. I tried to ignore him. but it was hard when he was only about 10 feet away.

I only watched a bit as I was out for a while.

I'll have to check when Port play Geelong down here and wander along.
