Swans = best @ Away in AFL 2011

    4 wins
    0 losses

next best is the Cats with 3-0 Away

    Our home record is 2W-3L-1D
There are only two other teams in the top 8 who have lost at home like us, every one else who has dropped more is outside the top 8.

We're 10 rounds in, we need to rally at home.

Given that we have the majority of our games at the SCG (8 SCG and 3 ANZ) why is this?

Even accounting for the 2 very very wet games agains the Cats and the Blues we should as a group have a better advantage playing at the SCG going forward.

Will be interesting to see how they go next week at the SCG. I thought coming off 2 wins that the Hawks game would be terrific - how wrong I was. Coming off 2 wins again, both away and an especially good performance tonight - hopefully bodes well for the Tigers game?

We will have to work for it against the Tiges.
But a surprisingly good on-the-road record, and should be a great confidence booster. Provided we don't take any team for granted.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

The draw was away from home.

We lost the 3 at home to top 4 opposition so it's not a concern. Need to beat teams like Richmond at home though

All of the top of my head after too many Coopers celebrating a win
my bad, I do recall the come from behind with against the Bombers.

That still keeps us the best at travelling however.

Reality is the Sydney are undefeated interstate. 5 games 4 wins and a draw. That has never happened in Sydney's 30 season history.

And the last time the Swans were undefeated after 5 Away games was 1932, when under new coach Johnny Leonard, they won their first 10 H and A games. That 79 year record involving a first year coach looks like being broken by Geelong's Chris Scott next week.

Ah, so that's it! Mystery solved. John has to be the name of the Head Coach for the Swans to maintain this statistic!
