Yeah, honestly if it didn't sound totally creepy coming from me, I would be telling you you that I think he has the sexiest shoulders I have ever seen. Face like a choir boy and shoulders like that.

It was the first thing I ever noticed about him. When he fills out this giant frame of his he's going to be unstoppable. It's already beginning, you can see he's a little bit bigger than last year. Another preseason or two and he should be in prime power-forward territory.

I'm thinking that maybe we should leave him in the goalsquare a bit more, after yesterday's performance. He's shown he can take a pack mark. I think CHF is definitely his future, but we need a marking target up forward, and maybe he could cut his teeth in the easier FF position. Buddy Franklin developed in a similar manner, starting out at FF and then eventually progressing to CHF.
Officially on the Reid and Sumner bandwagon!

He is a gun already, but from what I saw on Sunday, it wasnt the flukey winds that did him, it was the ball-drop. He drops the ball too high and it is a lot more horizontal than it should be. This is something that can be easily fixed which is good news for us!

                Well deserved Sammy!!!

                Huge effort.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

I've been following the Swans for nearly 30 years and I'm trying to remember the last young KP forward we had that shows as much potential as Sam. I got very excited after the lone game against Brisbane last year and he's going on with it.

So who was the last KP forward that looked this good? A real KP player, not an O'Loughlin type medium or a KP import like Lockett or Hall.

Be interesting to see the names thrown up by those with long memories.

Yep, poor guy. Was a huge talent.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

I have also been wondering his contract status?? We need to secure him for the long term as there is a certain club down here with truck loads of money that may try to entice him to play with his brother and play in front of 80,000 each week at the G etc etc etc.

There's also another club down the road with even more money to spend who can poach uncontracted players the next two years etc etc etc
