    4 Changes for next week

Out LRT (suspended), White, (Assuming he did a hammy late in the last quarter..) Jack injured and Little Spider omit.

In TDL, Currie, Parker and Gordon.

Just a guess a couple of hour after the game...

Kennelly's position has got to be a bit suspect.

I doubt if LRT will go for a legitimate attempt to spoil, so he'll probably get four weeks. If no White or LRT - is Pyke okay to play? Moore will probably get a run, too.

Pyke is a few canters short of a gallop, although if he was playing backup to Seaby he wouldn't be taxed as heavily as if he were leading the charge. I guess if it comes down to it, whether they trust Currie enough to do a job for them (and judging from the mid-season Ressies review I think he's a lot further away than a lot of people on this forum think).

            Ins: Ted Richards, Alex Johnson

Outs: Kieren Jack (injured), Andrejs Everitt

If White, Hanners (both had hammy comlaints) and LRT (possible suspension for his hit on Cloke) are all right to play...

Johnson, Ted go down back, push Mal further up the ground on the wing where he played a little this year. LRT to play the 2nd ruck and Jesse gets to play a full game at FF. We really do look better with him there IMO. The team just needs to have more confidence in him. Numerous times last night he had one on one contests with heaps of space around him and was ignored for shorter, lower % options.

Ed Barlow is to elite league football what Donna Hay is to exciting, original, charismatic thought.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

I thought Everitt was decent. Didn't get much of it, but I thought when he did he mostly had a positive influence.

The failure to block or shepherd to allow Birdie to mark the ball in our F50 was the opposite. He's not in our best 22 that's for sure.

Everitt's best contribution for the night was when he applauded Goodes for the shepherd of McVeigh's kick to give us the lead

His failure to play to the whistle and allow Blair to keep the ball in lead to Ball's goal said it all for me

The Bird non-block was a shocker.

There was also another poor one when we turned the ball over on the far wing in the last quarter when a kick coming out of defence missed it's target, going over the Swans head (Bevo?). Everitt left his man to help Bevo contest the loose ball when he had next to no chance of influencing that contest and suddenly found himself in no-mans land. When the ball fell the Pies way, they suddenly had the extra man overlap and the ball goes down the wing. I think it may have been the one that resulted in the Cloke goal, but not 100% sure. Either way, it was plain dumb football.

I was happy to give Everitt multiple chances to prove his worth, but with guys in the 2's absolutely beating the door down to get a game with good form, surely it's time for him to be left out permanently.
Driver of the Dan Hannebery bandwagon....all aboard. 4th April 09

Sumner must be getting his second game soon perhaps as a sub because he doesnt have the endurance.
