Our need for a strong forward who will kick goals in and out every week is paramount. H e can certainly take contested marks, has great athleticism and can kick goals. He grew up barracking for the swans and his idol growing up was micky o. With brisbanes terrible form and rumours of GWS wanting to sign him could we tempt him. he also is very versatile, a real gun. Thoughts?

Have had this discussion with a fellow supporter recently. Clark would be a great option for us to target in the trade period. Part of me would like to persist with Reid, give Johnston more opportunity up forward, and allow the two of them to become our key forwards for the next 10 years. But someone with a little more experience would be handy, too. Drew Petrie springs to mind who, although almost 29, would provide that experience and quality up forward for a few years to allow Reid and Johnston to develop around him.Comment

Like Mitch Clark, but he's an extremely selfish footballer. Culture-wise, he'd take time to fit in, I think. But in saying that, he can take a good grab and could be a great 1-2 with Reid. But I remember he wanted to go home to WA last season, so could see him fitting into Freo's forward line as well...Comment

please no more blokes toward the end of their careers, Petrie at 29 is too old to build a forward line on. Look at what happened with braddy.Have had this discussion with a fellow supporter recently.
