In the same magazine the Heralds food writer Terry Durack lists his top 10 favourite pies in Sydney. Number 10 was the Four'n Twenty traditional pie. I thought that was a strange choice considering the gastronomical delicacies Terry would be used to.

However his choice started to make sense when I got to this:

Best Enjoyed: With a Sydney swans win.
    Couldn't agree more Terry.
..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

He'd know. I ran into him as we were both heading into the SCG for the Tigers game three weeks ago.

I think it'd be terrible burden to have looks, talent and loads of money. Well I'm hoping that's true because I have all but 3 of those qualities.

It's not so bad, I still find I can relate with the little people.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

I figured I'd never get to see the Magic/Goodesy article - and just now lo and behold, the Sydney Magazine was in the work break room just sitting there.

... well, it was. It's now in my bookbag.

What? It was only gonna get tossed out by cleaners over the weekend anyway, most likely.

Those articles always appear on a regular basis when they are desperate for a shock-horror story. Pick a couple of way out there targets and write them up as the norm. So predictable that copy... ACA journalism.

Excellent read on the two legends and quite a bit I didn't know about them. Builds a stronger profile about both of them.

the article was very good - and nice that our boys made the front cover of the magazine instead of the others.
