    Dylan McNeil?

I dont get to see any of the reserves. How is Dylan going? Will he make the grade and play seniors? I am ever hopeful as a member of the 'short of stature' brigade.

He's going nicely, but hasn't been the standout he was last year.

The arrival of Luke Parker has meant he hasn't been in and under as much as last year, Parks just pushes everybody out of the way so he can get down and dirty. In the long run, it may prove a blessing as he has played a bit more outside this year and it won't hurt to add another string to the bow. He has bulked up considerably and no doubt future pre-seasons will add to that.

Will he make it? I think he can/will.

Not sure about at the Swans with Kennedy, Parker pegged to play that hard inside role after Jude bids farewell. Nick Smith is also that type of player as well, but is doing such a fine job in his current minders role that he doesn't venture into the middle much. He is more than capable of doing so however.

If he continues at his current pace, I'd be surprised if he doesn't find a spot on somebody's list.
Driver of the Dan Hannebery bandwagon....all aboard. 4th April 09

Suffers from being very, very good at the thing that a whole lot of other our players are very, very good at. He's a tough clearance machine, but so are Kennedy, Jack, ROK, Jude, Bird and Parker. Then there's Tom Mitchell coming next year and possibly Jackson Potter (whose clearanceossession ratio is very high indeed).

That said, he's had some success as a small forward at u18 level, and so he might be able to get a game in that role. The problem is his skills probably aren't what's needed for a small forward role. I wouldn't blame him for looking elsewhere if he can't get a few games next year. There are plenty of clubs where he'd already be getting a game.

Also, this shouldn't be interpreted as bagging him, I'm a big Dyl fan and really, REALLY want him to succeed with the Swans. I've been wanting us to get him since seeing him dominate in the clinches for the Bushrangers in the TAC Cup GF in 08.
Officially on the Reid and Sumner bandwagon!
