Two '8 point' home games coming up!

Looking forward to the challenge of the next 2 weeks and playing Freo and WB who are both aiming for finals with us first and formost and in particular for Freo, a home final.

These are crucial 8 point games we need to win back at the SCG.

Looking forward to both of them!

Yep, round 22 on a Sunday at ANZ. Looming as a big game too with their form improvement.

        Don't agree.
Our skills are on par with Fweo. They can beat us if they bring their A game and we bring the B+ we have of late.
Doggies can also run over us. Unpredictable.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

Yep we should be playing them just as they are hitting peak form, same goes for the Dogs. Sydney love nothing more than playing teams that play rubbish for the most part and then hit form a few rounds before they are due to meet us : )

What don't you agree with, Annie? Matt's just said that they'll be big games with a big impact on the ladder for the teams involved and he's looking forward to them- he hasn't exactly said we'll romp it in!

I'm really looking forward to them, aside from ladder position stringing 2 wins together to give us 3 in a row would be huge.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Personally I see us beating free and losing to the dogs.

Can all but shore up a home final and even still a potential crack at top 4 if we win them both. This week against freo is crucial though as it would give some breathing space on them with a win.

I actually think there are no less than 4 or 5 "8 pointers" ahead:

Freo (Home); Dogs (H); Bombers (Away); Saints (H) and probably Richmond (A)

Yep - spot on. As far as I am concerned every game is an 8 pointer until we no longer need the points. Business end of the Season and it's time to step it up. A little concerning that we still have no idea about a forward structure this close to September. Hopefully something miraculous happens and we start kicking more goals!!

Can't see Brisbane being anywhere close to challenging for a top 8 spot come round 24. Isn't that what separates a 4 point game from an 8 point game?

We better beat the doggies as it will be my only trip to the SCG this year.

That's what I always thought too Liz.
