    Goodes vs Pav

two key players for both teams

who do you felt had the bigger performance ?

Goodes still drives me nuts this year in that he rarely appears to dominate where as a Judd or Chapman or Murphy or other key players for other top teams seem to dominate every other week !

so I thought lets keep it in perspective how was Adam compared to someone of similar importance and similar role as Adam hence Pav

In my view it was a bit of a nil all draw. Neither really had that much impact on the game. But that's a loss for us because we really have so few good users of the football. That kick from inside fifty could have been completely inspiring. Instead it was simply awful.

Neither really had games they would look back on as in their top one hundred...

Agree about it being probably even today. But when you look at things more generally between these two, the biggest negative on Goodes compared to Pavlich is the gap between his best and worst. Pav is by far a more consistent player in terms of what you get from him, and he tends to not make errors in the basics (eg dropped chest marks) nearly as often. Having said that, you'd love to have both of these players in your 22 - both greats of the game.

      I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.
