Haven't the team said, more than once, that he would not be "a good fit for our club", or something equally diplomatic?
Nobody seriously wants to see this happen, nor is it remotely likely. Let's stop floating the idea and focus on our young talent.Comment

Damn i wish we could edit for a while longer at least, anyways i should of added the last time i spoke to him was a week before he came out and kicked 10 for Casey, but im doubting it'll change his thinking unless he all of a sudden kicks bag after bag,but his life and support system is in Melbourne and he wouldnt want to leave that now.Comment

Compulsive gambling made him evade his sobriety minder and later turn up screaming at police to take their uniforms off and fight him in the street in Fortitude Valley on NYE? Gambling was behind the spectacle he made for himself on the Footy Show "street talk"? Well, I suppose it was at Crown Casino.
Not unforgivable? As a general member of the public, you might be right. As an AFL player? You're kidding. Keep him as far from our players as possible. Which I am sure we will.Superman still wears Brett Kirk PyjamasComment

What kind of message would taking fev on send the young kids?
You can be as big a drop kick off field as you can manage as long as you kick a lot of goals?
We have a lot of youngsters on the team, and while I would like to give them the credit of being aware enough to disregard fev and his influence, in reality they are still kids, and they can and will make bad decisions. Let?s not give the leadership group a larger work load by having to negate the fevluenceChillin' with the strange QuarksComment

Putting aside off-field, fitness and "desire to be in Sydney" issues, the only point of getting Fev would be if we were one key forward away from being a genuine premiership contender within the next 12-24 months.
Otherwise, all the recruitment of a Fev type would just mask the need to find a second decent tall forward for the longer term to work alongside Reid.Comment

A thread about a moot point? Unheard of! You're expecting facts to get in the way of a good argument. Don't feel snubbed - it's not that we don't believe you, it's that we want to continue debating the pros and cons anyway.Superman still wears Brett Kirk PyjamasComment
