I heard his interview last night & he never mentioned Roos. He d he deliberately decided to announce his retirement in this game to say goodbye to the Sydney fans. He also said he enjoyed his time in Sydney but he would do a few things differently if he had it over again but you can't go back. He also mentioned he was a Doggies fan as a kid, childhood loyalties are hard to beat especially if you finally play for the side.

The Telegraph is NOT a newspaper, it's a damn tabloid. They will jump on any hint of gossip. I hope it follows in the footsteps of "the news of the world"...

people who think Roos didnt support hall throughout his time at the swans should be ashamed of themselves. The amount of incidents that happened with bazza, most notably in my opinion, the punch to matt mcguires stomache, which ultimately should have ruled him out of the grandfinal however didn't. That punch caused hysteria throughout the footy world in the lead up to the granny. also the staker incident, the rutten punch, the punch on wakelin. Please, roos had plenty of patience, imagine if fev did that once at carlton on field, he would be the worlds most hated man within a week and probably be out of the club if he did it twice.

I agree & just look at the trouble NEWS LTD is in over the Hacking Scandal. I read articles in both Tele & unfortunately the Herald which both referred to the Umpies as Refs, gee I think they could both get their facts right.

Tabloid sensationalism. It's no secret Hall is disappointed about how he left the Swans, and about Roos not talking to him immediately, but that's where it ends. Roos has himself admitted he would have acted a bit differently, and they've talked it over and resolved it. Hall has taken full responsibility for his actions on the field and how it all ended up. In all likelihood, his book will just detail how he was feeling at the time, nothing more.

The thing is its is unlikely that any of us will ever really know what really went down with Roos, Kirk & Hall - what played out in the press was not attractive for either side - let our premiership captain have his farewell and he can go off into the sunset. At the end of the day he is human and we all reach a breaking point at some stage in life. Some handle it better than others. Some days he was brilliant and others he was petulant. So work out how many games he played for us then count how many games where he did his nut - the numbers of terrific games played for us far out weighs the games where he lost his cool. But then some will always look at the negative - I will remember the positives and I will remember him holding the cup up in victory in 2005. And as for 2006 GF - he wasnt on his own at being very ordinary that day - so to blame it all on him is just plain silly - so its time to move on -whats happened happened., having said that, I wish to god that he was in our forward line right now!
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

On 2KY this morning it was mentioned that already it has been pitched for a fight between Barry and Sonny Bill Williams.

I have little doubt it will be one of the most publicised fights in Aust boxing history.

I enjoy the fights and have occasionally wandered to a venue to watch a fight that took my fancy, but I'll be coughing up the $$$ to enjoy it in the comfort of my loungeroom via Main Event if it eventuates.

                  Can't wait.

Any chance Mundine putting on a lot of weight so Baz can punch him to next week.

What about the stalemate when neither the Swans defence or Baz can win a free? The Doggies' Forward 50 an umpire-free zone?
