    Extended Aftermatch...

I note that the aftermatch will be held in the indoor cricket centre on Saturday and includes the attendance of all players. Those who attended last year would remember it's not a bad aftermatch, very similar to the type of aftermatch they get in Melbourne, although last year there was no 'autograph signing' table that the Melbourne fans would be accustomed to.

    Match Day details

    Members? After Match

The Sydney Swans will be hosting a larger than usual Sydney Swans Members? After Match Function at the Western Bulldogs match

The event will commence at the final siren and will run for two hours with an appearance from the full senior team* that takes on the Bulldogs on July 23.

The After Match Function will be held in the Indoor Cricket Centre, located behind the SCG Members Pavilion, access is via the Walk of Honour.

Lest year's was a cracker. Spanked Hawthorn and Jetta kicked his first goal. Hopefully the potential shame of rocking up as losers will spur them on to victory!

      Full on!!

      Go swannies.

Win or lose, I'll be there. Last year was great.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

If the weather holds out I'll be heading out to Leichhardt Oval after the game. If the weather is terrible I should be at the aftermatch.

Not a big turn out from the RWO lot as best as I could tell.

Primmy was there and I met GoSouth. I think I saw AnnieH trying to sing a Cold Chisel song. Wasn't sure.

Well, we waited for an hour and about 6 pm the team turned up.

Jesse did a bit of a cameo interview whilst everyone was waiting for the firsts. Tried to explain the loss to GWS but didn't really do it that well. However, in Jesse's favour, I did see him afterwards talking to a supporter for a while. An elderly male gentleman.

Finally team showed up and it was pretty much a "melon show". Showed melons and then left as quick as they arrived.

Spider was meant to be the MC, as they advertised that the week before but must have been baygoned along the way and was a no show.

They spoke to McVeigh and Goodes. A long talk with Sammy and he said that he wanted to thank Goodesy for letting him sit on his head. Infact he says Adam asks him to sit on his head every game.
Keirin had a bit of a chat and must have some cult status in the team.
Lewis got a big cheer from the crowd.
They bagged LRT about being the Swans new full forward.
Sang happy birthday for Rhys and Taigh.
Then left the building and everyone went home by about 6:15pm

Took some photo's so will try to attach one later in the day as have busy day.
In memory of my little Staffy - Dicey, 17.06.2005 to 1.12.2011- I'll miss you mate.

I think some of us were disappointed that the players exited so quickly especially as their moods would have been quite buoyant after a good win. Those of us that walked past the Basil Sellars entrance had better luck talking to some players as they left from there.

They couldn't hang around too long. Tadhg and Rhyce were throwing a dual 30th birthday fancy dress party last night!

Would they have had recovery regimes that meant they couldn't stay long???
