There are plenty of things that I've said I wouldn't do next year, that I would reconsider for $1.6M Good luck to him and his family if he takes such an offer up. At least it's not Collingwood...

I would be surprised though, all the same. I would find it hard to criticise him if the money was as reported tho.

This does back up a conversation I had with a former Swans' employee (during Roos' reign) in a box in Melbourne when ironically we played Carlton. I asked him, "Do you think Roos will coach again?" Response - "Could be as soon as next year with a club with a good list like Carlton". Or something along those lines.

Yep - everyone has a price! And with Mrs Price Fixer still happy to pour money into the Blues they are able to splash around a bit more than when big Jack looked like sending them to the wall.

Would tarnish Roosy's halo a little however to take over someone else's list at the stage Carlton's is at, especially if they then went on to win a flag. Not sure the feeling or taste in the mouth would be as sweet as it was in 2005!

Not happening, this rumour circulated earlier in the season when he started with On the Couch, I said it then and I will say it now, it wont happen. More chance of me playing for the Swans. He said he will not coach again, no reason to doubt it .
