Fosdike is coaching. Luffy, Jason Saddington, Nick Davis and Tim Schmidt are all playing there. Drummoyne's a great spot for watching footy - especially on a sunny day.

If it wasn't a Friday night, a mate (an evil Manly supporter) and I (a Tiger fan) would have made the trip up. Will have to put up with Rabbits and Channel 9 I guess.

I didn't know that "Save Us" was still getting around. Is he still a mercurial genius? Is he fit enough to slot in our forward line?

Bummer. Port Melbourne also have a bye in the VFL. Might have to head over to Packer Reserve to watch South Melborne Districts' Swans take on Glen Eira in VAFA Division 2.

OK, looks like a new thread. What the Old Boys are REALLY like when they play footy after retirement. Stay tuned.

And you guessed right 3B, no. Did all my League thing when I followed Kiz's father round with starrie eyes way back; and Junior, and heaven help me Kerry as well.

                Thanks Scott.

BS it all sort of fell into place unnoticed. Bride-to-be did ask "when's the Swans game?" and I just said they have a bye that weekend and no more was said. What would I be doing otherwise but hiding macarons from chunky Nicky D while watching Balmain with Primmy? But my advance planning fades to insignificance against Stella's genius. I want Stella as my personal trainer!

I'm going to make an effigy of Ray Chamberlain and stick pins in it!

The woman's a genius! Almost like Mrs Kirky when she sent the Captain off to play International Rules instead of going on their honeymoon. Have a great weekend and a better wedding!

Thank heavens the bye was this week and not last. After Bubbles Chamberlain's big steal, would have been a very very long period to be cranky!

Interesting fixturing though - bye then two away games. Withdrawals will well and truly have kicked in by the time the Saints game comes around.

Hopefully their form will have hit a speed bump by then too - typical we didn't get a crack at em when they were still feeling sick and sorry for themselves after their 2010 heartbreak. I certainly thought they wouldn't get off the canvas this season, but they have done it pretty well (darn it!)

Us southern supporters had to wait 9 rounds after rnd 1 for another game in Melb. The fixture has been rubbish this year.

Congratulations, GS! Best of luck for the day, I hope the weather is good and everything runs smoothly. What sort of cake did you opt for? It's Goody Stella's birthday that day as well, I'm planning on making her a victoria sponge.

While we are on the theme, it's my birthday on Sunday AND my wedding anniversary. The missus wanted to make it a date I couldn't forget.

Only 6 or so weeks until Zumbo's new shop opens at 'The Star'....
