Did you know Shakespear made up a vast number of words that are used in our everyday English language. I think he got away with it because noone questioned it due to lack of our universal awareness of language, what was in use, oops maybe I should have known that word....etc. The Americans changed the spelling of language to make it easier to read and right and teach. It came about with the use of an American dictionary that someone or other took liberties with.

The facts are that gotten is a word I want to shreak at, but can't, because it is in the Dictionary. If anyone in this day and age with good English usage under their belt went back 1,000 years to England, the chances of verbal communication are almost nil. The language is fluid and changes constantly. So the rules of English taught in school are a load of crock because in 200 years time noone will be using them anyway. It will be ruled by media communication and invention....

So, here's my contribution to the english language - the word loogadda (Sam Reid's shoulders) (James Magnasson's arms.....dribble(just for colour)) meaning - golly gosh ladies and gentlemen, that person is sporting a fine figure, specifically.......

That depends on whether you think thumb-screws, 25 lashes with a cat-o-nine-tails and a stretch bench are considered a prize ...
