    Teddy's 150th

Celebrating Ted's 150th game against Essendon on Saturday - surely we can win for this? Pleased to also read he has re-signed for another two years, until the end of 2013.

Playing his 150th against his old club. Good work.

I'm a bit nervous about this game but hopefully our normal post bye blues aren't present and we exploit their injury situation.

Love Teddy. He's exceptionally sweet and has had to work really hard to maintain his AFL career. He's been great this year and I'm really pleased we've signed him on for a couple more years.

On the topic of whether we can win or not, the Swans of recent years rarely win crunch games and gets routinely smacked around in milestone games. Unfortunately for us this week is both! So do two wrongs really not make a right?

Well done to Red Ted. I still remember that classic story when he signed with us of him taking all his Essendon gear to St Vinnies! I thought to myself then that I loved this bloke.
A great red and white man.

          Congratulations Teddy.

Through sheer hard work you've become the mainstay of our backline and for that you should be commended. Hopefully you can celebrate the 150th with a thumping win over your old mob.

+1 to your sentiments on Ted.

Sometimes a double negative does equal a positive, ie. the team will not not win for Ted, ergo they will win for Ted

Ted has stepped up this year and really become a Leader for the swans. Hope they can win it for him...

A great team player and leader in the back half. Dons were silly to let him go but I'm glad they did. Good on ya Ted,I hope the boys can light it up this week and get him a game to rememeber

Ironically the sub rule, which has killed off the careers of some talls, may have extended Ted's, with LRT now a forward/ruckman.

He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Congratulations to a model of perserverence. To think that it was only about a year ago that his career in football seemed limited. Now I couldnt imagine dropping him. Takes the hard jobs every week and rarely lets the team down.

He was for me one of our better players in the 2006 grand final.
