    Another Irishman

There is word out there that we are in talks with the former Collingwood Irishman, Marty Clarke.

He played well against us in a few games, from what I can recall.

If he agrees to come to the Swans, we may get him in the pre-season draft, or can we pick him up on some sort of special condition for recruits from O/S.

Do we really need another half-back flanker?

      No, no we don't.

Well surely Tadgh is finished this season so Marty might be a good chance,he is the most complete player out of all the irishmen ive seen Stynes included. When he was up and going he was equal if not better than Heath Shaw and the pies were crushed when he left.

Marty Clarke is an absolute gun. Any club would be begging to get his services for the future.

Collingwood must have the best recruiting department in the country closely followed by Geelong. We seem to be dragging along in the last year or so after some great pick ups last year in the draft but no concession players from o/s. Collingwood has another from County Down called Mooney.

hhhhhmmmmm he was ok .........from memory only 181 or 182 cm.........would allow Smithy to push more into the midfield and or Shaw permanently so I can see the merit wich then cam have Jack playing more minutes wider on teh wing when needed to stop players tagging as he keeps getting better and better !
